Alas, the holiday ugly sweater parties have begun!  Try this easy recipe for a fun holiday drink at your next shindig – vegan and gluten/egg-free.  Creamy, smooth, loaded with protein and just a hint of cinnamon and nutmeg, this drink offers a delicious alternative to those of you who have egg allergies, one of the top most common food allergens.

Well Nutrition Junkies, it’s been one hell of a year.  From road trips to Florida meeting with world-renowned physicians, to energy packed workshops filled with some of the most amazing men and women I have ever met, to inspiring new friends and old friends I never really knew and the most amazing spiritual energetic shift I have experienced in my life to date.

I feel so freakin’ lucky and fortunate to be where I am right here today, however unknown the path is in the future, and whatever fears lie ahead.  I’m ready to take on 2013 with some serious fierce and radiant energy I’ve held back in my past years.

Perhaps I’m making up for lost time… but I feel like I’ve gotten back to basics and back to the 8-year-old me who was so full of hopes, dreams and love to leave her print on this planet.  I’m ready for all the awesome miracles that are to come.  I am ready to continue to heal the world one person at a time.

I am ready to beat breast cancer, to destroy heart disease and stare the death of all disease in the face and tell it to go back home where it came from.  I am ready to jump full-force into my mission to educate, empower and inspire women to live the most amazing  life of health they were born and meant to live.

I am ready to no longer play small, but to step up into my greatness that I was placed here to be.  I am beyond ready to continue to spread the love that each and every one of you deserves as a human being on planet earth.

  • 1 ripe banana (frozen)
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder of your choice (I love Sunwarrior for this)
  • 2 cups coconut milk (or non-dairy beverage of your choice; almond or brown rice)
  • 1/2-1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 Tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch ground nutmeg
  • 1 pinch ground cloves


Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender and mix until well smoothed.  Pour into a wine glass and dust with a pinch of cinnamon.  Enjoy!
