Cheesy Kale Chips

Kale is king!  Packed with awesome vitamins and minerals kale is one of my ultimate superfood medicines.  A wicked plant-based source of calcium and rich with Vitamin K for bone health and healthy blood clotting formation, kale is a fantastic additive to any salad or smoothie.   This superfood seriously packs detoxification benefits as it is part of the cruciferous veggie group, also known as the brassica family.

Kale, like other members of the brassica family, contains health-promoting phytochemicals, sulforaphane and indole-3-carbinol (I3C) that appear to have cancer fighting effects, especially for estrogen dominant conditions such as breast cancer, PMS, endometriosis, fibroids and cysts.  Ladies- we can’t afford to live without these deliciously bitter, yet tasty dark leafy greens!

Try this yummy quick and easy recipe for an simple way to add kale to your everyday life.  Makes for a great quick snack alternative to chips, Doritos and popcorn on date night at the movies, plus it won’t leave your tummy aching in the morning.
